String Quartet # 2 in D Major

Yiskah Rosenfeld balances solo parenting with teaching workshops in spirituality and creative writing. Twice a Pushcart Prize nominee, she is the winner of the 2025 Prism Review Prize and runner-up for the 2026 Press 53 Prize. Her debut collection, Tasting Flight (Madville Publishing), and her first chapbook, Naked Beside Fish (Finishing Line Press), were both published in 2024. Poems appear in journals such as Rattle, The Bitter Oleander, Slippery Elm, and Lilith Magazine, and are forthcoming in Quartet Journal, Poet Lore, Watershed, and Prime Number Magazine. Yiskah holds an MFA in poetry from Mills College, and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
